15 Year Anniversary Giving
Even though we can’t be together, please celebrate and join us as we reflect on the past 15 years. We are committed to taking this important moment to work towards a future where we can redefine LACDC and contemporary dance in LA and beyond as anti-racist, culturally equitable and socially just.
We can’t miss this unique opportunity to honor our dancers, choreographers, board members, leadership, and collaborators. Show your support with a one-time gift (Card, eCheck, PayPal, Bitcoin, Apple Pay) or join some of our most vital supporters by becoming a recurring donor. We have recently updated our donation options and you can deepen your impact by fundraising on our behalf and by doing a company match.
It is our 15th anniversary, so we have a $15,000 goal and encourage you to give gifts in the amount of $15, $150, $1,500... you get the idea! Every dollar directly supports the pay of our dancers for their incredible contributions to this artform.
Any gift, of any amount will leave a lasting impact as we continue to champion the transformative power of an artistic experience, and seek to engage, educate, perform for, and connect with all people.
LACDC Artist's Fund
The new LACDC Artist’s Fund has been created to uniquely address the needs of the artists that are at the core of every creative process, workshop, intensive, performance and experience. All donations to the Artist’s Fund will go directly to LACDC company dancer’s pay and the fees of collaborators including choreographers, educators, designers, composers, and other members of the creative process. In times of dire need, the Artist’s Fund can be utilized by our network of artists as a resource for financial support.
Your contribution to the Artist’s Fund, no matter the amount or frequency, will provide the needed designated support to sustain artistic quality and collaboration year round.
March Madness Fundraiser: 2020
To our amazing community,
We are overwhelmed with gratitude by your donations during this challenging time. Thanks to you, we have exceeded our goal to raise $20,000 during our March fund drive with a total of $21,300 raised from 62 donors! We cannot adequately express our appreciation for your support.
Every dollar you have contributed will be matched by a generous donation from the Hutter family in memory of Norma Langworthy - the late grandmother of Kate Hutter Mason and avid arts enthusiast. These funds will go directly towards sustaining pay to our artists, and enabling us to get back into the studio once we are on the other side of this worldwide health crisis.
Now, more than ever, we are reminded that we thrive because of the strength and generosity of our community — our friends, family, students, collaborators, and fellow artists from near and far. We could not do this without you.
It has been incredibly moving to witness the continued support for non-profit organizations at large throughout this global devastation. Although these are difficult times, a network of collective kindness, generosity, and encouragement has developed organically, revealing the beauty of the human spirit and its continued presence in the arts community.
While we can’t be together now, we look forward to using this time of reflection as fuel to propel us forward into the creation of bold new work, meaningful training programs, and providing safe spaces for artists and communities to connect and heal together. On behalf of the LACDC board, leadership, artists, and collaborators, thank you for your support, and making this 15th anniversary a particularly special one that will never be forgotten. We are eternally grateful.
