Eva Angeloff is an East Coast girl with a West Coast heart who has been dancing everywhere in between for over 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and Philosophy from Indiana University, spent four years as a principal dancer with the New Mexico Ballet Company, and received a Masters of Arts in Dance and Dance Education from NYU in 2006. Her passion is movement, and she has taught Modern Dance and Dance History as an Adjunct Professor at Long Beach City College and has performed at a numerous venues around Los Angeles and the country with Ptero Dance Theatre. In 2009 she became a certified yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga in studios, community centers, at festivals, and high in the Himalayas ever since. She currently teaches therapeutic dance and movement to cancer patients and survivors in partnership with Elizabeth's Canvas in Santa Monica. Eva remains dedicated to honoring the community, craft, and the art of dance. She is thrilled, thrilled and honored, to be part of LACDC and is truly inspired by the mission of this company and the members and supporters who believe in the power of movement and community.
