You provide lighting equipment, costumes and a kick-butt sound system. You also support the less sexy, yet essential aspects of our business like insurance, workers comp, bookkeeping, etc.
And why do you do this? Because you love dance, or you love someone who dances, or you just like to know that creative minds are gathering and working together to create something that doesn't run on batteries or will never be motivated by money.
LACDC is a passionate group dedicated to creating dance and sharing ideas through movement. We know that it takes A LOT of people to make our work a success. A lot of awesome people like you. MARCH MADNESS
Each year we are provided the opportunity to double our donors support through a generous match grant provided by the Langworthy Family in memory of Norma Langworthy - a fiery, enthusiastic patron of the arts as well as a dancer, actor and producer herself. The grant is offered only during the month of March. During this time, we seek support from long time friends and family of the company, as well as those new to the company, to get involved. Donations anywhere from $10 - $1000 have been donated towards the group effort of raising $7500. You may receive a call from one of our dancers or board members during our two telethons during the month, or attend our Open Bar / Open Rehearsal event as part of the fund drive. You can also make a donation online via Razoo today. We are thrilled to have you on our team and look forward to successfully reaching our goal of $7500 with you!
VIP CIRCLE
By joining the LACDC VIP Circle, you have the opportunity to pledge an equal amount each month to LACDC.
To join! - simply select your monthly donation amount and set-up your reoccuring payments through RAZOO's secure site. This amount will be automatically charged on the same date each month and you will receive a year-end summary and receipt so you can claim your tax deduction!
This automatic, no-hassle form of giving will help LACDC maintain operations, rent space and hire artists & staff in support of continued artistic achievement. In exchange, LACDC offers our VIP Circle donors reserved premium seating for all LACDC produced events along with a dedicated season kick-off celebration with our dancers each Fall and invitations to watch studio rehearsals to get a behind-the-scenes look at LACDC in the creative process.
