AUDITIONS

LACDC will be holding auditions for our 2010/2011 season on Saturday, July 24. Details will be available in February. To receive emails with more information, join the official email list.

Typically, auditions are just once per year during the summer.

2ND ANNUAL SUMMER INTENSIVE

Get ready for LACDC's 2nd Annual Summer Intensive and Audition - July 19-30, 2010! Last year's intensive welcomed students from across the USA, Australia, England, Japan, & Argentina.

This year's pre-professional and professional program includes classes in contemporary modern and jazz technique, improvisation, composition, body conditioning and the opportunity to develop new work and learn LACDC repertory with Artistic Director, Kate Hutter, and LACDC company members.

Only 50 spaces available. REGISTRATION BEGINS ON MARCH 1st. To receive emails with more information, join the official email list.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

LACDC is a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of our volunteers to keep producing work. If you are interested in volunteering with LACDC please email Michelle at michelle@lacontemporarydance.org

Opportunities include: house management, event planning, mailings, auditions support, and much more!

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

We are currently accepting resumes and portfolios of choreographers, composers and other collaborative artists interested in working with LACDC in the upcoming seasons.  Please send all materials to the address below.  Thank you!

For choreographers:
Please send a resume, a 5 – 10 minute video of recent work and an artistic statement describing a work you are interested in creating with LACDC.  Or, if you have a previously constructed piece you would like us to consider to be set on the company as part of our repertoire, please include this on the video as well as a short description of the work.

For composers:
Please send a resume, a sample CD of recent work and a short description of how you would like to collaborate with LACDC including any ideas you may already have.

For visual artists and multi-media artists:
Please send a resume and a sample of your work (portfolio, photos, DVD, etc.) and a short description of how you would like to collaborate with LACDC including any ideas you may already have.
