Gakenia Muigai is a professional dancer from Tucson, Arizona. She has extensive training in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop and African dance. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, has studied with Alvin Ailey and traveled twice to Italy to extend her dance perspective. Her credits include The Who's Tommy Rock Musical, "Fame" the movie and Gnarls Barkley "Run" video. Expression through dance is one of Gakenia's favorite artistic outlets and she is so grateful to begin with LACDC!
